Abstract
This paper first narrate a story which frequently happened in our daily life,especially in cross-cultural communication.From this story we can learn that differences exit in different cultural .Then the paper take China and American as an example,to shows the reasons of the differences,it analysis the locations of the two countries, and different characters of these two countries.And then shows some aspects of the differences in diet habit.and different styles .The paper shows the differences in cross-cultural diet habit,and gives some suggestions in handle the situations .
